  • It has been a tough start to the new campaign for Beijing Renhe. As things stand, they are 2nd from bottom on the table.

Beijing Renhe F.C Team News:

@Twitter
  • Central midfielder Augusto Fernández is the only player on Beijing’s injury list at the moment.

————————————————————————————————————————————-

Possible ins or outs of this game:

  • Aleksandar Stanojević took some shocking decisions in the last game which was a Chinese FA Cup match. He fielded three goalkeepers in that match with two of them ended up playing in the forward position. Beijing ended up losing 5-0 to Guangzhou Evergrande.
  • The league seems to be the priority for Stanojević and there shouldn’t be any doubts about that considering the precarious situation of Beijing on the table. So expect the hosts to name a genuine and a sensible side here.
  • That said, Renhe secured a 2-1 win in the last league game, and with no injury or suspension, we expect the hosts to go almost the same squad which started the match against Tianjin Teda.
  • Zhang Lie will replace Mou Pengfei in goal.
  • Cao Yongjing and Makhete Diop will play up front.

  • Du Wenyang‘s position at the right-back is coming under threat due to his inconsistency this season. If the manager does decide to leave him out from the first 11, Nizamdin Ependi is the likeliest player to replace him in the 11.
  • We expect the hosts to go with an attacking side here.

—————————————————————————————————————————————-

Probable XI: Zhang Lie (GK), Rao Weihui, Luo Xin, Wan Houliang, Nizamdin / Du Wenyang, Ayub Timbe Masika, Chen Jie, Zhang Yufeng, Sone Aluko, Cao Yongjing, Makhete Diop

Tianjin Quanjian Team news:

  • No injury concerns for the visiting team.
  • However, 32-year-old goalkeeper Yang Qipeng remains an injury doubt.

Possible ins or outs of this game:

  • Considering Shen Xiangfu has been sacked and this is Park Choong-kyun‘s first game, you can expect changes here.

  • Alexandre Pato has left the club and won’t be available for selection. Only three foreign players are in the squad at the moment.
  • With Qipeng not at his 100%, Zhang Lu will be starting in goal.

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

Probable XI: Zhang Lu (GK), Zheng Cheng, Pei Shuai, Kwon Kyung-Won, Mi Haolun, Wu Wei, Zhang Xiaobin, Wang Yongpo, Renatinho, Alan, Yang Xu

Potential Game Changers:

Wang Yongpo
Alan
Makhete Diop
Sone Aluko
Renatinho

Stats and facts:

  • Beijing Renhe fielded three goalkeepers in the round of 16 matches against Guangzhou Evergrande, thus becoming the first ever side to do so.
  • Renhe’s last four games have averaged more than 2.5 goals per game.
  • Tianjin Tianhai have conceded at least two goals in 6 of their last 7 away games.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

If the hosts are to score a goal, he is the most likely player to open the scoring.

While for the vice-captain options, we suggest Alan and Wang Yongpo from Tianjin. The duo gets a lot of the ball and normally track back to support the defense.
