VAL vs CEV Dream11 Grand League Picks for Captains & Vice-Captains:

Rodrigo: Had a strong 2018-19 season as he racked up 8 goals and 6 assists throughout the season.

The 28-year-old will be looking for another strong season again with the Los Che.

Last Season’s Stats:

  • Games: 33
  • Goals: 08
  • Assists: 06

Iago Aspas: The most vital cog in this team. His absence at the back end of the season almost cost Vigo their La Liga status.

But he is fit now and will be looking for another strong start in front of the goal.

Last Season’s Stats:

  • Games: 40
  • Goals: 20
  • Assists: 06

Brais Mendez: The 22-year-old is one of Vigo’s prized assets. He can be a bit consistent but that’s understandable for his age. Expect a good game from him considering Valencia’s problems on the wings.

Last Season’s Stats:

  • Games: 31
  • Goals: 06
  • Assists: 07

Kevin Gameiro: A proven talent at the very top level. His versatility and the ability to contribute to the team’s cause makes him a very important part of this team. The former Sevilla man must be feeling good after scoring in the last game.

Last Season’s Stats:

  • Games: 33
  • Goals: 06
  • Assists: 01

VAL vs CEV Dream11 Grand League Scenarios:

Celta Vigo did fairly well against Madrid but were pegged down by the quality of the opponent. Valencia are no small team and have the players who can hurt the hosts.

If Valencia win:

Team 1:

  • Goalie: Cillessen
  • Defenders: Paulista, Gaya, Garay
  • Midfielders: Suarez, Beltran, Mendez, Parejo (VC)
  • Attackers: Aspas, Rodrigo (C), Gameiro

Team 2:

  • Goalie: Cillessen
  • Defenders: Wass, Gaya, Garay
  • Midfielders: Suarez, Beltran, Mendez, Guedes
  • Attackers: Aspas, Rodrigo (VC), Gameiro (C)

Celta Vigo to hit the visitors on the counter-attack and get a goal or two.

Team 3:

  • Goalie: Blanco
  • Defenders: Araujo, Mallo, Wass
  • Midfielders: Suarez, Beltran, Guedes, Soler
  • Attackers: Aspas (C), Rodrigo (VC), Gameiro
