Wolfsburg Team News:
USA international John Brooks remains out due to a muscle injury. The 26-year-old center-back suffered the injury while on the duty with the national team.
But manager Oliver Glasner will be without five more first-team players for the next home game against Hoffenheim. Paulo Otavio, Ignacio Camacho, Daniel Ginczek, Xaver Schlager and Koen Casteels all remain on the sidelines as well.
Marcel Tisserand hobbled off the pitch in the Europa League game and remains a doubt.
Possible INs and OUTs of this game:
Due to the lengthy injury list, Oliver Glasner has his options cut back ahead of this game. The new boss will more or less name the same XI which steered to a 3-1 win over Oleksandriya on Thursday.
Kevin Mbabu and William battle for a place on the right-wing, while the trio of Admir Mehmedi, Josip Brekalo, and Wout Weghorst will be featuring in the front three positions.
If Tisserand fails to shake off his injury issue, expect Jeffrey Bruma to start the game on the left side of the defense.
