FIFA Rankings: Indian Football team retains its position

Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has recently updated its ranking where the Stephen Constantine’s men retained their place. India ranked 97th position in the official rankings released on Thursday.
India recently played a friendly match against China which ended in a goalless affair on October 13, 2018, which seems to be gone under the favour of ‘The Blue Tigers’.

India will play another friendly against Jordan which has a 112th position on the rankings. They got defeated by FIFA World Cup runner-ups Croatia by 2-1 in a friendly in October.

FIFA launched the fresh rankings of the football world which are led by Belgium over the world champion France. Belgium has 1,733 points and they are leading the list of FIFA right now.

France are at the second position just after Belgium with 1732 points on the table. They slipped one place in the fresh rankings.

Brazil are part of the three top teams of FIFA in the rankings by retaining their position with 1663 points on the table so does Croatia on number four with 1635 points.

England step up one place from six to five.

The Top Ten names on the list are as follows:
Belgium, France, Brazil, Croatia, England, Uruguay, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, and Denmark.
