As Juventus get set to face Brescia at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has expressed slight concerns about Cristiano Ronaldo's availability for the Monday night league fixture.
Maurizio Sarri reacts to Ronaldo's fitness
“I want to see the current conditions. Ronaldo yesterday [Sunday] had a little muscle fatigue but it is quite normal after three games in seven days,” he told a press conference on Monday,” Sarri said.
“We'll see if it is necessary or not for someone to rest. It's important that we have continuity in this moment, but there are also other factors to consider.
“We'll have to make some evaluations,” he further added.
Cristiano Ronaldo was pivotal in the 2018-19 season for the Italian giants as he scored 28 goals and won the league title in his first season after a move from Real Madrid.
Dybala and Higuain to form a partnership?
Does Ronaldo miss out against Bresica, Sarri will have to go for Paulo Dybala, who hasn't got much game time, and Gonzalo Higuain up top.
Juventus are currently placed at the second spot in the Serie A with 10 points on board through three wins and a draw this season.
Inter Milan is has a two-point cushion off Juve with 12 points as Antonio Conte's men have won all four games in the league season so far.
