England’s manager, Gareth Southgate will be looking to overhaul his starting eleven for the game against Bulgaria after his side suffered defeat to the Czech Republic.

Tyrone Mings To be given Debut

As per several reports, England could possibly shape up with Tyrone Mings at centre-half in place of Michael Keane. If Mings gets the nod ahead, this will be his first-ever game for the three lions.

A Few Likely Changes

Apart from the Aston Villa defender, Southgate could opt for Trent Alexander-Arnold instead of Kevin Tripper. Ben Chilwell should also be named in the team sheet due to Dany Rose’s suspension.

Most English fans would have thought that Joe Gomez could be the man to replace Keane. However, his lack of minutes for Liverpool in the Premier League hasn’t made him a prominent option for his nation.

Marcus Rashford who was benched for the previous two games could get to start ahead of Jadon Sancho. Meanwhile, Harry Winks is also likely to be given an opportunity from the manager.

Standings

England and the Czech Republic are on level terms with 12 points each. Nevertheless, it’s England who’s still at the top of Group A as they beat the Czech Republic 5-0 earlier this year in the Euro 2020 Qualifiers.
