Pep Guardiola might be enticed to play Sergio Aguero against Wolves as the star striker recently returned from injury. Though Gabriel Jesus has struck form in the final third, Guardiola has termed Kun Aguero as someone who's “irreplaceable” in the Manchester City outfit.
The Argentine international's absence for five weeks due to a thigh injury led to the defending champions dropping points against Newcastle and Manchester United.
As a result of it, Manchester City's chances of reclaiming the title becomes a mountain to climb. League leaders Liverpool has a 14 point cushion from third-placed City at this very moment.
With Aguero's contract coming to an end this season, the 31-year-old will have to make a decision regarding his future. Pep Guardiola, however, spoke about the quality that Aguero has constantly brought in on the table and how his legacy at the club will forever be savoured irrespective of his decision.
Pep Guardiola lauds Aguero

“The most important moment of this club, more important than if one day this club wins the Champions League, is the moment when Sergio scored that goal, against QPR to win the first Premier League (2012) after I don’t know how many“That moment is much better than four titles in one season or whatever. And he was THE guy. More than anything, more than the goals he has done at this club.
“But sooner or later it is going to happen, he’ll decide when. I’m pretty sure the club will be ready to try to find the guy to replace Sergio and of course it won’t be easy.” years.”
