Manchester United midfielder out for 3-4 weeks, to miss tonight’s Premier League tie

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for three to four weeks with a calf injury. The Red Devils’ interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told the media Fellaini will be out of action for a long-term.

United manager said, “Fellaini will be out for a few weeksThat’s sad because there are ‘X factors’ in different players and we all know Felli’s ‘X factor’, but then again he’ll be working hard to get back for when all the big games are coming as well.”

United’s caretaker manager also provided injury updates on other players sidelined players, which includes Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo. He said, “Chris and Marcos just started running lightly so they’re not fit yet.”

Alexis & Bailly could feature against Brighton & Hove Albion

Solskjaer was hopeful of Alexis Sanchez availability for Manchester United’s Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference at the Aon Training Complex on Friday, the manager said, “Alexis has trained all week, so hopefully he comes through the session today and will be available. He’s working hard in training and as I said to you before, his attitude in training has been fantastic. And he wants to play. So for me, I’m looking forward to seeing him, but I have loads of good players to choose from.”

Man Utd boss confirmed that the rest of the squad is available, including Eric Bailly, whose could feature after completing a three-game suspension.
