It’s a lie, and he knows it: Pep Guardiola on Yaya Toure

Manchester city boss Pep Guardiola tagged Yaya Toure, a liar after the former Manchestercity Midfielder branded his manager being ‘cruel to him’ and also having ‘problem with African player.’ Toure was released by Manchester City earlier this week at the end of the season after spending eight precious year with the Premier League Club. He castigated his ex-manager and claimed Pep’s contempt against Africans.

In an interview, Toure said Guardiola “has often had problems with Africans wherever he has been” he also said that the manager always has some problems with him which is not ignorable at all. In reply, Guardiola said, “It’s a lie, and he knows it, we were together for two years, and now this is what he says it. He never told me face-to-face.”

Toure was sold to Manchestercity from Barcelona when the Catalan coach Guardiola coached the current La Liga champions in 2010, later on, Yaya Toure joined Manchester city, and Pep also became their coach.”He will never admit it, but the day he fields a team with five Africans, non-naturalised, I promise that I will send him a cake.” Toure added in his statement. Till the date, Toure appeared in 17 matches for the club still got released, and Pep Guardiola got an extension of his period with the club as a coach till 2021. In the end, Toure ended up with dissatisfaction after spending eight precious years of his career with the team but atleast got a farewell from the changing room.
