Seventh-ranked Pakistan lock horns against eight-ranked Sri Lanka in the first One Day International of the ICC Championship match at Dambulla on Tuesday. The two sides are evenly matched and have a lot to prove. The two teams will first play three-match ODI series, followed by three Twenty 20 Internationals.

Sri Lanka: AC Jayangani is one of most consistent batters in the team, with 378 runs at a batting average of 42 in 10 ODIs. Surangika is another batswoman Sri Lanka depend on. In the bowling department, the onus will be on Ranaweera and SS Weerakkody.
Pakistan: Nahida Khan and Javeria Khan are among the key batters for Pakistan Women team, while Sana Mir is the top-ranked Pakistan bowler in the ODI rankings.
Sri Lanka have not been at their best of late, but playing at home will give them some confidence. It is an evenly poised ODI.
