Australia’s Kookaburras lock horns against sixth-ranked Germany at Hobart’s Tasmanian Hockey Centre. The Kookaburras faced 4-1 defeat to world champions Belgium in the last outing which is their second straight loss. Earlier, Kookaburras went down in their opening game of the competition, 1-4 in the penalty shootout.

Germany would look to kickstart their FIH Pro League campaign on a positive note. In the recently concluded Hockey World Cup in India, Germany finished fifth. They would want to draw inspiration from the success at the mega event and take it to the FIH Pro League.
