The next fixture of the Women’s FIH Series Finals is between Chile and Russia. Chile has surprised and fascinated everyone with its performance in the series. Chile is in the top of its pool just after two days in Hiroshima. In its very first match, Chile left everyone in awe after defeating Mexico with 7-0 and then in the next match the host country Japan with 3:1. Chile has played two matches, winning both of them and with total 10 goals and 6 points is on No.1 in Pool B. On the other side if we talk about Russia who is also from Pool B, the team has played equal matches, has found victory in only one game against Mexico. Russia, after its first lost against Japan, fought hard to obtain their first winning 3 points against Mexico.
However, both Chile and Russia have not played any match since 2013, therefore this will be their first face off.
