From England’s side, coach Mark Hager keeps experimenting with the squad and has announced the 19- member team for the next fixture against the Netherlands. The squad was pre-decided for Belgium and the Netherlands match.
Players who couldn’t be placed in the team because of the injury are Lily Owsley, Ellie Rayer and Susannah Townsend.
As predicted earlier the absence of Lily Owsley has been felt in the previous match where Britain Women’s team succumbed to a defeat against Belgium with a scoreline of 1-4.
Lizzie Neal who was incorporated to complete the 19 player squad didn’t play in the previous match, so she might as well get an opportunity this time.
Nicki Cochrane, who was a replacement for the goalkeeper Amy Tennant had a quite tough time in the previous match. Let’s see if she will be able to brace the wrath of the World No.1 in the next fixture.
