Kolkata – Kolkata Knight Riders have come back stronger into the competition, securing a comfortable win over Delhi Daredevils. Nitish Rana launched KKR into overdrive with a splendid half-century, with Andre Russell also producing another spectacular display of brutal hitting.

The West Indian was at his brutal best once again, taking six sixes off Shami alone and off just nine balls from him. Lynn and Uthappa also played good hands with the bat to help KKR get to 200. Tewatia was the pick of the bowlers for DD, picking 3 wickets for 18 runs.

In reply, DD did not get off to the best of starts losing Roy early in the chase and lost next two wickets quickly. Pant and Maxwell combined to put on a fight, but it was not enough in the end. Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav picked three scalps apiece for the home side.
