Bengaluru – Kolkata Knight Riders registered their fourth win of the IPL 208, beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. Chris Lynn and skipper Dinesh Karthik starred with the bat, helping their team go over the line.

Chasing 176, the Knight Riders’ openers put 59 runs for the first wicket to lay the foundation. Lynn batted through the innings, while Narine and Uthappa batted along to keep the scoreboard ticking. But, it was the Karthik who put the final nail in the coffin with 10-ball 23.

Earlier, KKR won the toss and asked RCB to bat first. On a wicket that assisted spin, the Royal Challengers put on 175/4 with Kohli leading the charge with the bat – scoring 68 off 44 balls – in the absence of AB de Villiers. For the touring KKR, birthday boy Andre Russell was the pick of the bowlers – with returns of 3 for 31.
