Tom Curran made his international debut in a T20 against South Africa in June 2017. Since then, the 23-year-old has represented England in all formats. He made his ODI debut against West Indies and his Test debut during the Ashes.

The South-Africa born represents Surrey in his county and has played over 50 T20s. He has played 7 T20Is for his country.

He has taken 53 wickets at a strike rate of under 20 in 51 matches.

Notably, Mitchell Starc would be missing his third successive IPL.
