Bengal Warriors and UP Yoddha will kick-off their Pro-Kabaddi League 2019 season against each other at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Both teams had a decent run in the last season as both made it to the playoffs.

UP Yoddha had a turnaround in the closing moments of PKL last season when they just made it to the playoffs out of nowhere. They would be expecting to be more complacent this time around with some changes in the set-up.

They have retained the likes of raiders Shrikant Jadhav and Rishank Devadiga who were good in the last season.

Just like UP Yoddhas, the Warriors have also made some changes in their set-up with the biggest one being the axing of skipper and experienced defender PO Surjeet Singh.
This time around, their premier raider Maninder Singh will be leading the Warriors.
In K Prapanjan, they have got an able ally for Maninder Singh in the raiding department.
Apart from Prapanjan, Sukesh Hegde is also a new addition in the raiding department who represented Tamil Thalaivas in the last season.
