Pitted as the underdogs this season, Gujarat Fortunegiants will open their Pro Kabaddi League campaign against the formidable Dabang Delhi K.C. at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
The last year’s finalists Gujarat Fortunegiants will have a tough ask this year as they will have to pull up their socks to compete with the other teams who are looking very intense.
Gujarat has made several changes this year and coach Manpreet Singh has expressed his confidence in the new look side. He said he was disappointed by the performance of the defence in the last year’s final against Patna Pirates. But, in spite of missing a number of big names in the raiding department, Manpreet still feels his side has a fair chance this year.
