Telugu Titans open their Pro Kabaddi League 2022 campaign against Bengaluru Bulls on Friday. With just 27 points, the Hyderabad-based franchise endured their worst campaign in the premier Kabaddi tournament last season. The Titans, yet to make playoffs since 2016, finished bottom of the table.

To bolster their attacking unit, Telugu Titans bought raiders Abhishek Singh and Monu Goyat in the auction. Siddharth Desai, who missed a big chunk of the 2021 season due to a wrist injury, was re-signed by the Titans. Meanwhile, the Indian Railways duo Parvesh Bhainswal and Ravinder Pahal who won the Senior National Championship recently have been added to the squad with the latter named as the skipper.
