The Knockout Phase is going to be in full swing during the FIBA Asia Women’s Cup. The team that is going to win the game can at least secure a spot for the Women’s Basketball World Cup next year. In this game, Australia is going against the neighbor New Zealand for the Semi-Finals. More about AUS-W vs NZ-W Dream11 is going to be imparted here.
Australia has fielded its string-second unit in this tournament and the loss against China displayed the shortcomings with only Whitcomb being able to muster something. The Opals have struggled consistently on offense and even left the door for Chinese Taipei, who struggle on both ends.
New Zealand has also shown inconsistencies on the offensive end like the Opals especially against higher-ranked teams. They can pile up points on teams that lack size and athleticism but Australia can pose challenges on both fronts. Penina Davidson has been impressive for the squad, almost averaging a double-double and counters the size up-front. This can be a low-scoring game unless both teams find the magic missing in the offense. Who has the edge? Difficult to say!
Match Timing: 30 September, @ 06:30 PM Venue: Prince Hamza
