CHI vs CON Dream11: The WNBA’s Semis are in full force and the Games 1 were won by away teams and both the higher ranked teams were faced with a ton of questions. Has Chicago Sky found their answers after losing Game 1?
In Game 1, the Sun came with a huge burst of energy on the defensive end and left the Sky bamboozled. They won 69:63 and except for Candace Parker who put up a historical statline and the consistent Kahleah Copper, the rest of the players were smothered by the elite Sun defense. The Sun show awfully too but they will come with a huge boost in the game.

Sky knows how to come back
This is the second time in the second straight series that the Sky find themselves down 0-1. But last time, their opponent was the inconsistent squad of Liberty, this time around they have a real job at their hand while taking on the highly charged-up Sun, a team that knows how to disrupt the best laid offensive plans.
In Game 1, the Sky shot around 35%, six players shot below 30% while Copper and Parker shot in the excess of 40%. It wasn’t like that the Sun were amazing from the field, they shot just around 37% and Bonner and Williams combined for 7/28 from the field but the team defense was amazing. The rebounding battle played a huge role as the Sun extracted a 47:36 advantage. This was a physical start to the series and the Sun has bodies that can strike hard and also absorb contact well. But the Sky’s depth is well-suited to undertake comebacks.

Connecticut Sun Team News
Sun Expected Starting Five Quick Scorer: F: DeWanna Bonner Point Forward: SF: Alyssa Thomas All-Around Star Forward: PF: Jonquel Jones Elite Defensive Guard: PG: Natisha Hiedeman Isolation Mid-Range Expert: SG: Courtney Williams
BENCH: Brionna Jones, DiJonai Carrington, Odyssey Sims, Joyner Holmes, Nia Clouden.
Alyssa Thomas(CON) Points: 12 Rebounds: 10 Assists: 07 Steals: 01 Built like a rock, the above numbers completely showcase how dominant Alyssa can be in multiple facets of the game. She can be in for another stacked game, and can be in 10-16 points, 7-11 rebounds, and 5-8 assists range here. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-45
Candace Parker(CHI) Points: 19 Rebounds: 17 Assists: 05 Blocks: 06 Steals: 04 Candace turned in a night to remember but even that wasn’t enough to bring a dub for the team. She can be expected to rise up again and I expect a 12-18 points, 10-14 rebounds, 4-7 assists, and 2-4 blocks/steals range here. She can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Prediction scenario. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-44
Jonquel Jones(CON) Points: 12 Rebounds: 09 Assists: 00 Steals: 02 Jonquel has looked rather conservative with her shot selection throughout the season but continues to supply top-notch scoring, rebounding, and defense. I believe she will be in 12-16 points, 8-11 rebounds, and 1-2 steals/blocks range. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 24-35
Courtney Vandersloot(CHI) Points: 05 Rebounds: 03 Assists: 02 Elite perimeter defense from the Sun limited Sloot’s production but I expect the veteran to bounce back and put up big numbers. I believe she will be in 15+ points, 6+ assists, and 1-3 steals range. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-41
DeWanna Bonner(CON) Points: 15 Rebounds: 09 Assists: 05 Steals: 03 Although a 4/16 shooting night is awful, Bonner was a huge factor in other aspects, making some much-needed plays down the line. I believe she will be in 10-14 points, 4-7 rebounds, and 1-2 steals/blocks range. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-32
Kahleah Copper(CHI) Points: 13 Rebounds: 03 Assists: 01 Blocks: 01 Steals: 01 Elite athlete Kahleah was doing a great job on the offensive end but will like to be even more assertive in this game. I expect the hooper to be in 12-18 points, 3-5 rebounds, and 1-2 steals range. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
