CHI vs CON Dream11: The WNBA is heading into the All-Star territory but much more than that, we have crossed the halfway mark of the Regular Season which has continued to produce amazing battles. These amazing women keep on working hard on their games and I catch the whole game whenever I have a chance. And I’d love to catch the scintillating Chicago Sky take on Connecticut Sun.
The Sky are the defending champions and they have surely played like one, winning 13 of their 18 games and strangely, they look even stronger than the last season. They come into this game after clinching a close 88:85 win against the Minnesota Lynx. On the other hand, the Connecticut Sun has done an amazing job as well and has clinched 13 wins in 19 games. They hit some hiccups in the middle but then pulled off a strong 72:61 win against the Dream as Courtney Williams exploded for 17 points. Who will come on top in this exciting battle?
Host: Chicago Sky
Visitors: Connecticut Sun
Match Timing: 29 June, @ 09:30 PM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: Wintrust Arena
Sky’s depth is scary
The Sky has built a loaded roster. There are few or rather no teams with as much as ball movement as the Sky and with Messeman, Vandersloot, and Parker, the team has a lot of players to handle the scoring and playmaking duties. Messeman’s addition has bolstered an already intimidating Forward position and she has brought careful shot selection and an all-around repertoire. As a bonus, Rebekah Gardner has brought amazing energy off the bench while Quigley and Stevens act as strong subsidiary scoring. The overall defense is tight with the team able to both physically dislocate opponents while also closing in on shooters.
Sun has some issues but they can improve
The Sun has been strong so far this season and the return of Alyssa Thomas and Courtney Williams have helped the pace, but the concern is that the team can get stagnant on the offensive end and waste too much motion at times. Jonquel Jones has been not in her prime form whereas Hiedeman has been a tad inconsistent. Bonner has gotten it done whereas Brionna Jones has been a strong factor off the bench. The Sun needs to become better in terms of scoring the ball at this point or they will be exposed to teams like the Aces or the Sky in the Playoffs.
Highest scorer: Jonquel Jones:18
Highest rebounder: Jonquel Jones: 12
Top assists maker: Alyssa Thomas: 9

Connecticut Sun Team News
Sun Expected Starting Five
Quick Scorer: F: DeWanna Bonner
Point Forward: SF: Alyssa Thomas
All-Around Star Forward: PF: Jonquel Jones
Elite Defensive Guard: PG: Natisha Hiedeman
Isolation Mid-Range Expert: SG: Courtney Williams
BENCH: Brionna Jones, DiJonai Carrington, Yvonne Anderson, Joyner Holmes, Nia Clouden.
Thomas was aggressive on offensive end in last game after a cold spell and she has been a big factor as a pace-pusher, rebounder, and elite playmaker. I believe she will be in 11-16 points, 6-9 assists, and 6-9 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 32-43
Forward Candace is an All-Around Threat who has done a great job with the Sky team and remains relevant. I believe she will be in 14-19 points, 7-11 rebounds, and 5-8 assists range. She can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Prediction scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-44
Forward Jonquel hasn’t been in her MVP form like last season but poses a significant threat as a scorer, rebounder, and defender. I believe she will be in 14-21 points, 7-11 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 19-30
Emma has been amazing when choosing her shots and her presence makes Sky a more winning team than last season. I believe she will be in 13-18 points, 5-8 rebounds, and 3-5 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-32
After initial struggles, Courtney has figured out her offense and her current form is crucial to an offensively short-handed Sun. I believe she will be in 14-19 points, 4-6 assists, and 4-6 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-32
Guard Courtney has upped her scoring for some weeks now and with her playmaking duties eased a bit, she has been aggressive. I believe she will be in 12-17 points, 5-7 assists, and 1-2 steals range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
