CON vs SEA Dream11: We are heading towards the midway point of the WNBA and the All-Star voting has taken Center-stage. Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, and Kelsey Plum can be counted among the favorites to be named to the All-Star Game for sure. There can be some other names too but these look obvious ones. Talking about Breanna Stewart, her Seattle Storm will take on the Connecticut Sun in this game.
The Storm is on a four-game winning streak and has recovered from a slow start, winning nine of their 14 games. In their last game, they overcame a fierce Minnesota Lynx resistance to win 81:79. The Connecticut Sun have been even better than the Storm, having won 11 of their 15 games, not solely being dependent upon Jonquel Jones anymore. In a high-scoring affair, they beat the Atlanta Dream 105:92 behind an incredible 20 points performance by Courtney Williams. Who will come on top in the clash of the heavyweights?

Storm’s defense has been terrific
While Gabby Williams hasn’t been a big scoring threat, she has done a great job of being a defensive, rebounding, and playmaking threat. Jewel Loyd can be a tad inconsistent but she has been a strong scoring presence. Ezi Magbebor has improved her offense a bit, already being an effective rebounder and defender. The bench is veteran with players like January and Prince. The Storm can be a bit off from the offensive end at times but they have a disciplined unit that can make a deep Playoffs run if there are no major injuries.
Sun’s offense is awesome The Sun’s offensive rating has been the best in the league, and they are the second highest scoring squad in the league. They are the second-best shooting team and due to their size and athleticism, get a ton of free-throws, being first in the league in that regard. They also allow the least amount of rebounds per game, which is not a surprise for a team that is efficient and also can pin down defensive rebounds at a high clip. Unlike last season, the Sun’s offense is much better and anything less than a Finals run will be surprising to me.
