The curtains will soon fall on the current edition of AfroBasket and there have been some inspirational performances throughout the tournament. The Tunisian men here will lace up against a surging Cape Verde outfit in a Semi-Finals match-up. More information about CPV vs TUN Dream 11 will be given here.
Both teams have been spectacular in the tournament as Tunisia is yet to lose a game while the Cape Verde players have shown their resilience in late-game situations. The Almeida-Tavares combination is set to go against the Mejri-Romdhane frontline which is perhaps the most enticing match-up. However, Tunisia might have a slight edge in the guard match-up as Michael Roll and Omar Abada have both been consistent while Nunes Xavier and Fidel Mendonca have been a tad inconsistent for Cape Verde. Both teams are fuelled by their Centers in Salah Mejri and Walter Tavares and it will be interesting to see how the two big guns match up against each other. Cape Verde is an excellent rebounding team, averaging 48.5 RPG for the tournament compared to Tunisia’s 38.5 but then Tunisia has the edge in terms of SPG with 11.5 compared to 6.8 by Cape Verde. Surely, an exciting match-up ahead, but Tunisia has the edge as they are stacked from Guard to Center position.

CPV vs UGN Dream11 Fantasy Lineup(Based on recent form and stats)
PG: O Abada, F Mendonca
SG: M Roll, J Xavier(PP)
SF: R Slimane
PF: J Almeida
C: W Tavares(SP), K Mendes
Walter Tavares is a double-double threat and a favorite for Super-Player in the Dream11 Fantasy Basketball Match.
The proficient Salah Mejri surely deserves a look.
(Last Match Stats)
Walter is a 7’3″ Center who uses his size well at both ends of the floor. He is capable of hitting shots close to the rim and also possesses a decent jumper. However, what makes him difficult to counter is his rebounding ability and shot-blocking skills that can influence how the offensive operative. He is averaging an unbelievable 16.5 PPG, 14.3 RPG, 4.3 BPG, and 1.5 SPG!
Salah Mejri does a lot of image on offense while mounting up a more than decent defense. Despite his seven-foot-one-inch frame, he can knock down jumpers off set pieces and open up lanes inside, this is one of the reasons why he has hit 20/23 shots inside the 3-pt arc, which makes for 87% FG. Mejri is averaging 14.8 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.3 SPG, and 1.8 BPG.
Almeida is a multi-faceted player whose main offensive weapon is the long ball. He has shot an efficient 43% on 28 attempts so far which allows Walter to inflict more damage inside. Almeida has also rebounded and assisted well, with averages of 15.3 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 3.0 APG.
Omar poses a lot of threat running the point as he can pass from tough angles and can turn the game making important long-range shots. He is also capable of getting to the line, having shot an impressive 18/20 Free Throws. The Guard also rebounds well and has averaged 13.0 PPG, 5.8 APG, and 4.0 RPG so far.
Jeffrey Nunes Xavier
Nunes may not be a tall PG but he does perform like a Forward at times, using his springy legs to gather rebounds. He is also an excellent scorer and has an eagle eye enabling him to set up his teammates for easy baskets. He is averaging 13.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 6.0 APG. However, he has only shot 31.6% from the floor and that can be fatal against an efficient Tunisian team.
Roll is a terrific shooter but that is not all to his game as he can put the ball on the floor and create chances inside. He is shooting 47% from the floor averaging 15.8 PPG and 4.3 APG.
Averaging 10.3 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 3.8 APG.
Makram Ben Romdhane

Averaging 9.5 PPG.
Averaging 6.3 PPG and 3.3 APG.
