DAL vs LVA Dream11: The WNBA season is well in its flow and we are bound to see another exciting season. In the WNBA, there are between 30-40 games played by each team and a typical season is done in four months or so. There are 12 teams and the top eight teams make it to the Playoffs. Wish the league expands more and increases the number of teams. But before that happens, the Dallas Wings will host the Las Vegas Aces.
The Wings have done well so far, winning six of their ten games. Their last win was phenomenal as they shut down the Seattle Storm to clinch a 68:51 win as Allisha Gray cooked 18 points. On the other hand, the Aces have been the best team in the league so far, winning nine of their 11 games. They come into this game after losing to the Sun 90:97 despite a 26 points outing by Jackie Young and a 23-point night by Kelsey Plum. Can the Wings stun the Aces here?
Host: Las Vegas Aces
Visitors: Dallas Wings
Match Timing: 6 June, @ 03:30 AM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: Michelob Ultra Arena
Improved Wings, Impeccable Aces
The Wings have a bunch of isolation players who can shoot from long range and that is why they have been third in the league with three-point makes with 9 on a 36.4%, which is also third-best. On the other hand, their three-point defense has been equally impressive, limiting opponents to just 6.2 triples a game, which is the best return. Arike Ogunbowale, Allisha Gray, and Marina Mabrey are all streak shooters and all three provide superb shooting. Apart from them, Satou Sabally is getting in her groove whereas Isabelle Harrison and Kayla Thornton have been great complementary frontline pieces.
The Aces have much more firepower compared to the Wings. They have an amazing backcourt of Gray and Plum, as Plum continues to grow both as a playmaker and scorer. Then there is Jackie Young, whose breakout season has resulted in the big fortunes for the Aces. On the other hand, with a superstar like A’ja Wilson paired up with rebounding specialist Dearica Hamby, the team is deep. The Aces are perhaps the most athletic team in the league and due to that, they are number one in pace(81.6), number one in scoring(91.6 Points per Game), and have the best net rating of +12.6 per game(Win/loss difference). The Aces are on fire.
