GER vs ESP Dream11

GER vs ESP Dream11: FIBA EuroBasket is in its Final Four stages and we are not far away from finding out who will end up with the title this year. This year has seen three expected Semi-Finalists but Poland sprung up a surprise for sure. In this game, two least surprising candidates Germany and Spain are going to clash against each other.

Germany enters the game after a 107:96 win against Greece as Dennis Schroeder put up 26 points and dished 8 assists in yet another stellar effort.

Meanwhile, Spain enters the battle after clinching a 100:90 win against Finland as Willy Hernangomez showered 27 points to lift the squad.

What a match-up!

The highlight match-up here can be between Franz Wagner and Juancho Hernagomez, two NBA-level talents. But Germany is much more than Franz, having found their long-range shooting and consistently dipping 10+ threes at a high clip. Wagner and Obst combined for 10 of them alone in the last game as the team ironically shot better from the three-point line than the two-point territory. They also have a solid rebounding team and Daniel Theis clapped 16 rebounds in the last game.

Spain has been carried mostly by the Guard-Middle pairing of Lorenzo Brown and Willy Hernangomez. While they are an excellent long-range shooting squad, Spain does most of their damage in the paint, using Hernangomez’s low-post abilities. The bench is deep with Brizuela, Juancho Herangomez, and Rudy Fernandez, who bring different set of skills and keep up the ante. Depth-wise, both teams are loaded and this can be a close battle.
