KB vs ASV Dream11: ASVEL hit the road this week to play an important EuroLeague regular-season game against hosts Saski Baskonia on Thursday night (IST). Both the teams have had a poor season so far and look likely to miss out on the prestigious playoffs. But ASVEL are in a better position and have more chance s of playing the post-season. As things stand ASVEL are sitting on 14th position in the standings, but face a two-game deficit in the playoff race. That’s why this is an important game for the visitors for if they lose this match, the deficit is likely to extend to three games and with only six games remaining after this round, bridging that gap will be more difficult
As for Saksi Baskonia, the season is almost done as they are down at 16th and sit four games behind the playoff spots. Again, overcoming that much deficit in only seven games is a task almost impossible.
Head-to-head:
This will only be the 5th between these two teams in EuroLeague since 2000. Saski Baskonia leads the head-to-head record with 3 wins, including the last game when these two teams met each other earlier in the season.
