LAS vs IND Dream11: The WNBA season is in full flow and we have enjoyed a multitude of games already. The WNBA is different, there are 12 teams, and unlike the Conference system, the Playoffs slots are from one to the eighth spot. In this game, the Indiana Fever will host the Los Angeles Sparks as both teams will play their second game of the season.
The Fever was blown away by the more disciplined Mystics in the last game, losing 70:84 as the team’s offense crumbled. On the other hand, the Sparks earned a tough OT win against the defending champs, winning 98:91. New arrival Jordin posted 21 points and the team got their running game going early on.
Host: Indiana Fever
Visitors: Los Angeles Sparks
Match Timing: 9 May, @ 12:30 AM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: Bankers Life Fieldhouse
Contrasting offenses
The Fever was struggling on the offensive end last season and not much has changed it looks like. Although Nalyssa Smith and Queen Egbo bring some inside prowess with Smith being a strong defender plus rebounder and Egbo a solid finisher. Apart from that, young Emily Engstler bolsters the Forward position further but there is a multitude of troubles in terms of three-point shooting, which is a huge problem again.
On the other hand, the Sparks look like an altogether different team in the first game of the season, compared to last season. The starting lineup of Sykes, Canada, Ogwumike, and Cambage, is full of players that can get a ton of steals and the former three can run the floor and open up multiple fastbreak opportunities. The three-point shooting seems to be boosted with the arrival of Lexie Brown but the concern will be how Liz Cambage will settle alongside the quick legs.

Jordin Canada(LAS)
Points: 21
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 08
Steals: 02
Jordin showed her prowess in the first game of the season and nailed 6/11 field goals while making all of her nine attempts from the free-throw line. The highly talented inside guard can be in 14-20 points and 5-8 assists range here. She can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-33
Kelsey Mitchell(IND)
Points: 18
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 03
Mitchell hit 7 of her 16 shots in the first game of the season and she is one of the best scoring guards in the league. She can be in 17-22 points range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-26
Nneka Ogwumike(LAS)
Points: 19
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 02
Steals: 03
Nneka made 7 of her 10 shots in the last game and she is the lifeline on the offensive end with her multi-faceted game. I believe she will be in 18-23 points, 5-8 rebounds range, and 1-3 steals range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-36
NaLyssa Smith(IND)
Points: 13
Rebounds: 13
Assists: 01
NaLyssa got 5 of her 13 shots to go in and her rebounding will be huge for the Fever going ahead. I expect a 10-15 points and 8-13 rebounds range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 18-28
Liz Cambage(LAS)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 00
Steals: 04
Blocks: 02
Although Liz had a decent impact on the defensive end, she shot just 4/12 and turned it over five times. I expect a much better offensive effort here and see her in 14-18 points, 5-9 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 23-36
Emily Engstler(IND)
Points: 04
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 01
Steals: 02
Blocks: 02
Rookie Emily can develop into an elite defender but she had jitters in her WNBA debut, turning it over 4 times and shooting 2/5. I expect a 6-10 points, 7-10 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 14-22
