LVA vs LAS Dream11: The WNBA has been heading towards the Playoffs and it is clear that we are in the most crucial part of the season, especially for the teams that are on the fringes of the Postseason territory. We have seen another scintillating season and the race for the top is still commanded by Chicago Sky. In this game, another contender for the top, the Las Vegas Aces will take on the Los Angles Sparks.
The Aces were the best team in the league for most parts of the early season but that changed after the third week of June and after a 13-2 start, they lost and won six each. However, they have won four of their last five wins and come into this game after defeating the Indiana Fever 90:77 as A’ja Wilson nailed 23 points. The Los Angeles Sparks have been a mixed bag for most of the season. They keep getting chained up in losing streaks after building some wins and have 12 wins and 14 losses record.
Host: Las Vegas Aces Visitors: Los Angeles Sparks Match Timing: 24 June, @ 07:30 AM (+05:30 UTC) Venue: Michelob ULTRA Arena
Aces: Need to start afresh
The Aces have been a strong team for most parts, using their incredible athleticism and a wealth of shooters and drivers to wreak havoc. They play at top pace and are streaming up and down the floor at an eclectic rate. Las Vegas played at a superb speed to begin the season, yielding great results but lost their way in the middle which meant they were exhausted after a point and their defense and offense both looked off. But recently, they have looked much better than in the late June period, however, they still have not been the team that started the season better than anyone.
Sparks: Stagnant shooting
The biggest issue for the Sparks has been that they have been unable to shoot from the long-range and then the problems have been exacerbated due to the lack of production from Liz Cambage, who has been now shifted to a bench role. The Guard rotations have been rather an ineffective outside of Sykes and overall, the Sparks do have playmakers but there is certainly a lack of versatility. Nneka Ogwumike has been the most reliable scorer for the squad once again. Chiney Ogwumike has skyrocketed in the starting spot whereas Katie Lou-Samuelson remains the most reliable long-range shooter for the team.
