The WNBA Semi-Finals are on with full intensity and the teams are battling hard for the Finals spot. In this game, the run-and-gun Las Vegas Aces take on the veteran Phoenix Mercury. More information about the LVA vs PHO Dream11 scenario will be imparted here.
Mercury got sucked into Aces’ pace during their Game 1 loss. Las Vegas scored 95+ points and Mercury seems more comfortable when the game is in the 75-85 points range in regulation. The high score came because Las Vegas scored early in the shot-clock, hitting jumpers and opening up lanes.
Aces’ guards combined for a whopping 68 points, Riquna nailing 26, while Plum scooping up 25. Riquna hit some tough pull-ups and drives in transition which caused problems for the overall defense of Mercury. The team has incredible depth and that is one area where Mercury took the hit when the sixth player of the year Kelsey chipped in with hot-shooting in the last quarter.
Mercury isn’t going to win against the Aces if guards Diggins-Smith and Taurasi are going to get outscored by a big margin because Las Vegas has an equally explosive forward lineup. Griner and Turner still are carrying the major load for the team at both ends of the floor.
Aces seem to turn it on when needed as the plethora of offensive options showcased the skills in the last game. The Mercury will need to somehow contain the early offense and make sure that they slow down the pace of the game for both teams.
