The WNBA Semi-Finals are on with full intensity and the teams are battling hard for the Finals spot. In this game, the run-and-gun Las Vegas Aces take on the veteran Phoenix Mercury. More information about the LVA vs PHO Dream11 scenario will be imparted here.
Mercury got sucked into Aces’ pace during their Game 1 loss. Las Vegas scored 95+ points and Mercury seems more comfortable when the game is in the 75-85 points range in regulation. The high score came because Las Vegas scored early in the shot-clock, hitting jumpers and opening up lanes.
Aces’ guards combined for a whopping 68 points, Riquna nailing 26, while Plum scooping up 25. Riquna hit some tough pull-ups and drives in transition which caused problems for the overall defense of Mercury. The team has incredible depth and that is one area where Mercury took the hit when the sixth player of the year Kelsey chipped in with hot-shooting in the last quarter.
Mercury isn’t going to win against the Aces if guards Diggins-Smith and Taurasi are going to get outscored by a big margin because Las Vegas has an equally explosive forward lineup. Griner and Turner still are carrying the major load for the team at both ends of the floor.
Aces seem to turn it on when needed as the plethora of offensive options showcased the skills in the last game. The Mercury will need to somehow contain the early offense and make sure that they slow down the pace of the game for both teams.

A’ja Wilson is a premier scorer, can rebound, and also racks up steals and blocks.
At least one among Brittney Griner and Brianna Turner deserves a place in the Dream11 Fantasy Basketball team.
*stats from last game*
A’ja fits perfectly into the fast-paced game of the Aces. She runs like a cheetah and her ability to contort her body around the rim helps to rack inside points. Wilson is also a terrific rebounder and plays tough defense. Wilson shot 7/12 from the field in the last game.
Brittney is the ace of Phoenix’s team and her skillset is varied for many reasons. She can hang in the low-post and overpower even taller defenders and also has a lovely turnaround jumper. Griner’s ability to rebound and manipulate defenses through her passing makes her an overall threat. She is a terrific defensive player as well. Brittney shot 10/16 from the field in the last game.
Chelsea showed her complete skill-set in the last game. She shot 7/13 from the floor and led her team in assists. The guard uses her explosive first step to finish in a myriad of ways and also can set up teammates through tough passes.
Skylar is a blur at the guard position. She can shoot over taller defenders using her leaning and loopy jump shot. Her ability to perform combo moves and nifty floaters, runners, switch hand layups allow her to be a total threat on offense. Skylar shot 4/9 from the floor and will need to shoot more from the field to stretch Aces’ defense.
Kelsey earned the Sixth Woman of the Year award and deserved so. She forms a scary guard lineup alongside Williams and Gray. Kelsey can kill defenses in various ways, she can run on the floor and finish inside. Plum also has a devastating pull-up jumper and has a lot of ways to score. She shot 8/17 from the floor in the last game, including 3/7 from the three-point line.
Brianna has been an “X-Factor” for the Mercury and benefits from playing alongside Griner. She can dive inside the paint and make tough shots while fights hard on the rebounds. She led the team in rebounds during the last game and shot 6/8 from the floor.
