Host: Las Vegas Aces Visitors: Seattle Storm Match Timing: 15 August, @ 12:30 AM (+05:30 UTC) Venue: Michelob Ultra Arena
Aces are runnin’ and gunnin’
The Aces have the best pace in the league(80.4) and they have been running the show well. They have a mix of amazing inside players and outside shooting, which makes them a strong team in all respects. Their offense has two players who can go past 20 regularly(Plum and Wilson). On the other hand, they have two other players who can hover around 15 points or more regularly. Rebounding has been strong but their defense still has some improvements to be made. Their bench is thin as it gets.
Storm needs stronger effort on offense
While Breanna Stewart has been in a great flow and her offense has been keeping the effort afloat. Apart from her, Tina Charles has brought some offensive chops whereas Jewell Loyd has not been as consistent. Sue Bird can hit the outside shot but she remains a strong passer. Gabby Williams has brought defensive chops but she can’t be relied upon on the offensive end. Magbebor has given depth to the bench.
