NYL vs SEA Dream11: The All-Star voting is going to close soon and we are going to move past the halfway mark of the Regular Season soon. This has been another riveting season and the Connecticut Sun and the Las Vegas Aces have established their reputation as the top two teams thus far. Then there are teams looking to get going. And one of those teams is the New York Liberty, a squad that will host the Seattle Storm.
The Liberty has recovered a bit after recovering from a 1 win and 7 losses start, and currently sit with six wins and nine losses. They come into this game after beating the Mystics 77:65 as Natasha Howard launched a 27 points and 9 rebounds game. The Storm has won nine out of their 15 games, which is surely not a shabby start but they have also had their issues on the offensive end. They come into this match after losing to the Sun 71:82 despite a 19 points performance by Breanna Stewart. Can Liberty continue its improvement?

Offensive woes for the Liberty
The Liberty hasn’t done well on the offensive end, and apart from Sabrina Ionescu, only Natasha Howard has been a reliable option. They are dead-last in terms of points per game and have the second-worst three-point shooting percentage. They turn it over around 15 times a game and their field goal attempts are limited. Losing Betnijah Laney to injury has hurt and Rebecca Allen’s injury only makes the three-point shooting worse, but the team’s defense has enabled them to stack some wins.
Elite defense of Storm but the offense…
Like the Liberty, the Storm has had its troubles on the offensive end. They have a slow-paced attack and can go through massive dry spells, something which was common in the last game against the Connecticut Sun. However, their defense has been amazing, limiting even elite offenses to below 85 on a regular basis. Breanna Stewart has remained the focal point on the offensive end but Jewell Loyd has been way too inconsistent. Can Ezi Magbebor be more assertive?
