The WNBA Finals are here finally and what a fun-filled Playoffs we have had so far. Two teams remain and what exciting teams! In the first game of the Finals, Phoenix Mercury will take on Chicago Sky. More information about the PHO vs CHI Dream11 scenario will be imparted here.
Candace Parker has now gone to another Finals and Candace will be thrilled to acquire another championship. However, Griner will be standing in her way and she has been in an impeccable form.
Let us talk about the front-court situation, Griner-Turner face-off versus Stevens-Parker, all four players are capable rebounders and can produce both offense and defense. Griner will need to fight hard for a position against a physical Sky team. Why is it so? Because the Sky defense gave a physical Connecticut a run for the money inside.
The guard match-up is no less exciting, All-star talents Diggins-Smith and Taurasi take on Quigley-Vandersloot. All four are wonderful long-range shooters and it will be interesting to see how both teams respond at the perimeter. However, Mercury can get a ton of trouble from Kahleah Copper, who has led her team in scoring multiple times.
Both teams play contrasting styles of basketball, Mercury likes more set-pieces while Sky is a fast-paced team. However, it isn’t like both teams don’t switch the playing style from time to time, both of them have veteran players who can play both ways. Who has the edge? Hard to tell, A ton of exciting basketball ahead.
