SSK vs AT Dream11: The New Zealand Basketball League is going on in a full flow and we are now deep into the season. Alongside WNBA, it is a great league to keep the basketball fans busy with the WNBA and Spanish league done. And in this game of the league, Southland Sharks will take on Auckland Tuatara.
The Southland Sharks are the worst team in the league so far, winning just three out of their eleven games. However, they did complete a win in the last game, winning 103:102 against Canterbury Rams as Mojave King scored 26 points. On the other hand, Auckland Tuatara has won seven out of the 12 games. They have lost four games in a row and in their last game, they lost to the Giants 90:95 as Siler Schneider scored 27 points. Can Tuatara break their losing streak?
Host: Southland Sharks
Visitors: Auckland Tuatara
Match Timing: 1 July, @ 01:00 PM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: Stadium Southland
Sharks defense is terrible
Sharks’ defense has been the worst alongside the Wellington Saints and they have been suffering a lot because of it. The offense has shown slight progress but overall, the Sharks’ effort is questionable for most parts. Mojave King has led the team in scoring, constantly scoring 20 points or more. Winston Shepard has been the leading rebounder on many occasions while Daishon Knight has rolled out a bunch of assists.
Auckland keeps losing close games
Tuatara has been unable to get close wins. Their last four games’ loss difference has been 5, 4, 1, 2. And it is clear that the team has been unable to close the deal mostly because of the defensive lapses. Siler Schneider has been incredible as an all-around player. Robert Loe has been a huge rebounder while the team’s passing has been evenly distributed.
(Last Game Stats)
Siler made 10 of his 14 shots and has had some strong games lately. I believe he will be in 17-23 points and 7-10 rebounds range.
Shepard made six of his 14 shots in the last game. I believe he will be in 12-16 points and 7-11 rebounds range.
Robert is an elite rebounder who can also score well. I believe he will be in 12-17 points and 12-16 rebounds range. He can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in theDream 11 NBA Prediction scenario.
Mojave made five triples in the last game and has been an amazing scorer. I believe he will be in 17-23 points range.
Dontae made six of his 16 shots and is an all-around player. I believe he will be in 12-17 points, 3-6 rebounds, and 3-5 assists range.
Burton nailed five triples in the last game. I believe he will be in 13-18 points range.
Takiula made five of his 15 shots. I believe he will be in 11-16 points and 4-7 rebounds range.
He made five of his nine shots and is an all-around player. I expect a 9-13 points, 3-5 rebounds, and 2-4 assists range.
Braydon Iuli (AT)
Iuli made five of his eight shots. I believe he will be in 7-12 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
Knight made six of his 11 shots and had an incredible assists night. I believe he will be in 9-14 points and 4-6 assists range.
Nick can be in 4-7 points and 2-4 rebounds range.
Jaylen made three triples in the last game. I believe he will be in 8-12 points range.
Brayden could only click on one of his seven triples. I believe he will be in 4-8 points range.
Romaro is a strong rebounder and I believe he will be in 4-6 points and 4-6 rebounds range.
