On the other hand, the Manawatu Jets have been also among the bottom teams as well, losing six out of their nine games. They are on a two-game winning streak though and beat the Canterbury Rams 100:86 riding a 28 points performance by Shane Temara.

Sharks’ defense has been terrible
Southland Sharks have been awful defensively. They have allowed teams to go beyond 90 continuously and with a not good enough offense, their losing differential has been high. Mojave King has been an incredible offensive player for them, averaging 20+ points a game. Winston Shepard leads them in rebounds with 12+ a game. Meanwhile, Dominique Kelman-Poto leads them in assists with around 4 a game whereas Mojave has been a decent playmaker too without around 4 a game as well.
Are the Jets figuring it out?
The Jets started in a terrible manner but they have won three out of their four games. Their offense has been strong in these games while despite not featuring a strong defense, they have gotten it done on the offensive end. Shane Temara has been the leading scorer whereas John Bohannon has been the leading rebounder, scrapping about 14 rebounds a game. Bohannon has also been the leading playmaker with around 5 assists a game.
