UTA vs SAS Dream11: The NBA Preseason is on, and well, you can’t take much away from the results here. A lot of times, the main players of a team are resting and often they are on a minutes restriction, thus taking the fizz out of the usual action. The Regular Season is about a week away and that is when we will see the real deal. Anyway, in this Preseason, the Utah Jazz will take on the San Antonio Spurs.
The Jazz did a great job in the last game and defeated the Trail Blazers 118:101 as Jordan Clarkson dropped 19 points.
On the other hand, the Spurs had another tumble and lost to the Pelicans 97:111 in another watered-down offensive performance. Host: Utah Jazz Visitors: San Antonio Spurs Match Timing: 12 October, @ 06:30 AM Venue: ViVint Smart Home Arena
Jazz: What’s the plan. The Jazz blew their roster up, completely doing away with the core of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Bojan Bogdanovic, the trio that was responsible for the best record in the league just a couple of seasons ago. Now, they are in rebuilding mode and only Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson remain from that main core. They did land Lauri Markkanen and Colin Sexton in the Mitchell trade, but let us see how they stick here. How will this lineup perform in the stacked Western Conference scenario? Will Jazz be a sub-30 win team?
Spurs: They also blew up the roster Trading away DeJounte Murray meant that the Spurs dealt their best player who was their most consistent player last season. They still have Keldon Johnson, who will need a strong playmaker alongside him to be more effective than he has ever been. The roster lacks the firepower but young Devin Vassell can be in for a breakout season. Jakob Poeltl and Doug McDermott remain but the defense looks highly compromised. This season can be the type where the Spurs struggle to win even 30 games.
