VGB vs RM Dream11: Various major Pro Leagues are in the final stages of their season and we are well into the season crown. Usually, in the European scene, the top two to three teams have historically been the same for a number of seasons. And in Game 3 of the Semis, the Real Madrid will visit the Vitoria Gasteiz Baskonia.
In Game 2, Real Madrid defeated Baskonia 83:71 as Adam Hanga erupted for 18 points. On the other hand, Vanja Marinkovic had 17 but he was unable to pull the team through. Can the Baskonia at least force a Game 4?
Home: Vitoria Gasteiz Baskonia
Visitors: Real Madrid
Match Timing: 8 June, @ 12:30 AM
Venue: Fernando Buesa Arena
Real Madrid entered the series as favorites and has lived up to the billing after claiming a two-nil lead. In Game 1, they won 94:84, and in the last game, they had a terrific defensive performance with an 83:71 victory. Baskonia did a decent job on the boards, eking out 14:13 offensive rebounds. Real Madrid made six more shots from inside the three-point line and also made two more triples than Baskonia. Baskonia made 19 free-throws, six more than Real Madrid, but the Madrid squad did a great job on the defensive end.
The thing with Real Madrid is that they are able to identify the hot-hand and are not reliant on just one or two players to get the magic going. In the last game, Adam Hanga led them in scoring whereas Watler Tavares led all rebounders with 8. Fabien Causeur had most assists with 5. For Baskonia, Vanja Marinkovic led them with 19 points, Wade Baldwin IV and Steven Enoch led all Baskonia rebounders with 7. Madrid defense has really kept Baskonia quiet.
*Stats from team’s last games*
Wade Baldwin IV(VGB)
Baldwin has been an all-around threat but will need to do more as a scorer. I believe he will be in 14-18 points, 5-8 rebounds, and 4-6 assists range. He is an option for Super/Pro Player in the Dream11 Prediction scenario.
Adam has done a great job this season and if he explodes on the offensive end, it is a bonus. I believe he will be in 9-14 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
Simone made four out of his seven shots and he has been a reliable scoring option. I expect him to be in 11-17 points and 2-4 rebounds range.
Center Tavares is an elite defender, rebounder, and uses his size well. I expect him to be in 6-11 points, 6-9 rebounds, and 1-4 blocks range.
Peters has had some decent scoring and rebounding games. I expect a 8-14 points and 4-7 rebounds range.
Yabusele is a terrific Forward who can have a huge impact but attempted only four shots. I believe he will be in 8-13 points and 3-6 rebounds range.
Vanja seven of his 11 shots and he has had a couple of brilliant games. I expect him to be in 12-16 points range.
Gabriel has been a brilliant defender. I expect him to be in 6-10 points and 4-6 rebounds range.
Enoch is a rebounding specialist but may need to do more scoring-wise. I expect a 6-10 points and 5-8 rebounds range.
Center Poirier has been a strong back-up Center. I expect him to be in 7-11 points and 6-9 rebounds range.
Granger can be in 4-7 points range.
Fabien did a great job of handling the ball but shot 1/8. I believe he will be in 6-10 points and 3-6 assists range.
Jeffery can be in 4-7 points range.
Fernandez can shoot the lights out. I believe he will be in 7-11 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
Wetzell can be in 4-6 points and 3-4 rebounds range.
I doubt that the veteran Forward will come close to last game stats.
Rokas shot 0/9 in the last game. I expect him to bounce back and be in 7-11 points range.
Taylor can be in 1-4 points range.
