ATL vs MIA DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Atlanta Hawks host Miami Heat in an NBA match at Philips Arena, in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday morning (IST).
Atlanta Hawks a team on a slide at the moment. They have lost the last four games and have won just twice in the last eight matches heading into this match.
With just five points deficit at the half-time, Hawks were in the game against Sacramento Kings last time around. But a 3rd quarter defensive meltdown saw them totally surrendered to the intensity of Kings’ players. De’Aaron Fox had a night to remember as he ended up having his first triple-double of this career.
Trae Young and Kent Bazemore looked like lacking the mutual understanding on the court while there is a lack of real talent who the players could look up to when the going gets hard.
Can Hawks snap their four-game losing streak against Heat?
Miami Heat may have lost the last two games, but they have had a decent campaign so far. The 2012 and 2013 NBA Champions started the campaign with three wins in the first five games, including a big 120-111 win over Portland Trail Blazers.
In the last two matches which Miami lost against Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets, Heat had moments where they completely switched off.
Against the Kings, they started the match with a bang and won the first quarter by a massive 11 points, only to be outmuscled by the opponents in the very next quarter. Heat could never recover from the onslaught of De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield and ended up losing the match.
The next match against Hornets was more or less the same.
Regular Season Record-
Atlanta Hawks: W-2, L-6
Miami Heat: W-3, L-4
Players to watch out for:
Trae Young – He is just 20, and is still leading the pack for his team. The Point-Guard is racking up 18.5 points per game till now.
Tauren Prince – The 24-year-old has hit a purple patch in the last three games or so. But he is a good player and should be in your NBA fantasy team for this particular fixture.
Josh Richardson – The 25-year-old Small-Guard is the best offensive player in Miami Heat roster at the moment. The Oakland born star is scoring at 19.1 points per game this season. While he also had his season-high 31 points against Sacramento Kings which should give him confidence heading into this match.
Goran Dragic – A seasoned campaigner, he brings much more to the table than just points. The 32-year-old is the 2nd best player for Miami and is scoring 17.7 points per game.
