ATL vs MIA Dream11: The NBA Carnival heads steadily towards the championship mode and we have already seen some savory battles at our disposal, therefore, it has become a must to tune into the NBA. As we go forward, we will only get closer to the title and that will only increase the intensity. And in this Eastern Conference battle, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Miami Heat.

The Heat has bagged two dominating wins and has played some highly intriguing style of basketball, especially on the defensive end. The Hawks have struggled all season away from home and that means the Heat will have to figure out a way here. Jimmy Butler hoarded 45 points in Game 2 and it will be vital for the Hawks to come up with a better response here. So, when they will be at home, how will the Hawks respond to the revved-up Heat?

Host: Atlanta Hawks
Visitors: Miami Heat

Match Timing: 23 April, @ 04:30 AM (+05:30 UTC)
Venue: State Farm Arena

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Big game for the Hawks
The Heat won the second game by a margin of 10 points courtesy of a superb shooting night by Butler who has had another impressive start to the Postseason. Despite Adebayo’s reduced scoring, the Heat has found ways to keep the high-scoring Hawks quiet, and have kept them way below their average score. In the last game, a 31-22 run ensured that the Heat get the win and solidify the position. It will be interesting to see how the Hawks respond here in Game 3.

Trae is shooting below 20% from the three-point line and after shooting below 10%(yikes) in Game 1, he did much better in terms of overall field percentage, bagging a Field Goal % of 50. The bigger problem has been his turnover count, he committed 6 of them in Game 1 and then had even a worse time in Game 2 as he committed 10 turnovers, however, it is not a stretch to say that he will be doing much better at the home floor.

In Game 2, the biggest disparity was in terms of free throws, as the Heat shot twice more than the Hawks. The team also shot better from the three-point line(38%) while draining two more treys than the Hawks. On the other hand, the team committed 14 turnovers compared to the 19 committed by the Hawks. Tyler Herro is yet to have had a big night and the same goes for Adebayo, but the Heat’s defense has propelled them to big wins. The Hawks can face further trouble if Adebayo and Herro get it together. For the Hawks, in Game 2, Bogdan Bogdanovic had the most solid returns with 29 points (clicking on five of his ten attempts from long-range)

Fantasy-related tips

Of course, the Hawks rely heavily upon Trae Young, who is the team’s leading scorer and playmaker, basically the heartbeat and soul of this squad. Bogdan Bogdanovic recovered his form in the last game and his fantasy stocks remain up. John Collins raised his stocks through a double-double night while DeAndre Hunter has been a consistent scorer. Overall, Trae and Bogdanovic seem to be the most viable fantasy options from the Hawks.

Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo have been sort of disappointing as the fantasy picks, especially the latter, who has not left deep imprints as a scorer, although he gets it done on the defensive end. On the other hand, Jimmy Butler has emerged as the strongest fantasy option from the Heat while Max Strus is a dependable scorer from deep-range. PJ Tucker is a sort of unreliable option whereas Gabe Vincent has been solid in the last two games. Victor Oladipo and Markieff Morris have fallen out of the rotation.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks

Jimmy Butler(MIA)
Points: 45
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 05
Steals: 02
Wing Jimmy showcased his full prowess in the last game , shooting an incredible 60% on 25 shots and if he finds his game, then the Heat will be difficult to stop in all manners. I expect a 28-34 points and 4-6 assists/rebounds range.. He can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 38-66

Trae Young(ATL)
Points: 25
Rebounds: 06
Assists: 07
Guard Trae has been in tremendous form as a playmaker and scorer, and his ability to take over games is crucial. However, he has committed 16 turnovers in the last two games while his three-point shooting can be called “awful” if we are being charitable. At home, I expect him to pop off for a 27-34 points and 8-10 assists range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-45

Bam Adebayo(MIA)
Points: 09
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 03
Blocks: 01
Center Adebayo has been a terrific presence for Heat all season but an injury has impeded his production lately, although he has been an active defender nonetheless. I expect him to bounce back here, and figure in 12-18 points, 7-12 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks/steals range. He is QUESTIONABLE for this game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 23-33

Tyler Herro(MIA)
Points: 15
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 02
Blocks: 01

Iso threat Tyler is yet to have one of his special shooting nights and has struggled from beyond the arc. Even after that, I see him getting it together on the road and be at least in 17-24 points and 4-6 rebounds range here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 24-38
Tyler Herro ATL vs MIA Dream11

Bogdan Bogdanovic(ATL)
Points: 29
Rebounds: 04
Assists: 03

Two-guard Bogdanovic responded well in the last game after a 0/8 shooting night and clicked hom five of his ten attempts from the three-point line. The incredible guard can be in 19-26 points range at home.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-36

John Collins(ATL)
Points: 13
Rebounds: 10
Assists: 02
Steals: 01
Due to Capela’s absence, John’s role as a rebounder and defender has expanded and he responded well in Game 2, just his second back from an injury. I expect the athletic Forward to be in 14-18 points and 7-11 rebounds range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 22-33

Kyle Lowry(MIA)
Points: 09
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 02
Blocks: 03

Perimeter threat Kyle shut down Trae in the first two games so his offense has been a bit quiet as a result of exerting energy on the other hand. However, I expect him to do much better on the offensive end and I think he will be in a 10-15 points, 6-9 assists, and 1-3 steals range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-36

ATL vs MIA DREAM11 LINEUP BALANCERS

  • De’Andre Hunter(ATL) had 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1block in the last game. Wing Hunter has provided stability as a scorer and does most of his damage inside the perimeter. I expect a 12-17 points and 3-5 rebounds range at the home floor.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-30
  • Kevin Huerter(ATL) had 9 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block in the last game. Huerter is not a consistent high-scorer but can turn it on every now and then. I expect a 13-18 points, 3-5 rebounds/assists range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 17-29
  • Max Strus(MIA) had 14 points, 4 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals in the last game. Off-guard Strus has earned his role as a starter through a breakout season and he made crucial shots in the last game. I expect a 9-15 points range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 14-24
  • Danilo Gallinari(ATL) had 2 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal in the last game. Power Forward Danilo was unable to get going in the last game, having 0/6 shooting night but he has rather been a dependable option. I expect a 11-15 points and 3-5 rebounds range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 15-25
  • Onyeka Okongwu(ATL) had 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal  in the last game. With Capela out, Onyeka has gotten some handsome minutes and I expect a 4-7 points and 4-7 rebounds range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 7-17
  • PJ Tucker had 3 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal in the last game. Defensive Forward PJ can be here and there in terms of offense. I expect a 5-9 points and 4-6 rebounds range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 10-20
  • Duncan Robinson(MIA) had 2 rebounds in the last game. Robinson had 27 in the last game and 0 in the last game which sums up his impact. I expect a 8-14 points range here though.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 8-14
  • Delon Wright (ATL) had 9 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds , 2 stealsin the last game. Bench Guard Delon has been a decent contributor and I expect a 5-9 points and 3-5 assists range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 10-20
  • Gabe Vincent(MIA) had 11 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals in the last game. Defensive Guard Vincent has had a couple of solid outings and I expect a 7-12 points and 3-6 assists range here.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 12-22
  • Caleb Martin(MIA) had 3 points, 2 steals in the last game. The defensive threat Caleb can be in 4-6 points and 1-2 steals range.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 4-12
  • DeWayne Dedmon(MIA) had 6 points, 9 rebounds Adebayo’s injury has opened up minutes for Dedmon and I expect a 5-9 points and 6-9 rebounds range.
    Expected Fantasy Points Range: 12-23
