BCK vs ASV Dream11: In a match carrying more than usual stakes, BCK Khimki will be playing hosts to ASVEK Basket in EuroLeague round-26 match at Mytishchi Arena on Friday night (IST). The reason being both the teams are looking to get into the playoffs, and know there are not many games left in the regular season to make up for the lost ground. That said, Khimki are in a far better position, as they sit 8th and another win here will further strengthen their position. But a defeat here, and the wins for the likes of Olimpia Milano and Fenerbahce will haul them outside the top-8. ASVEL Basket, on the other hand, are 16th and face a two-game deficit in the playoff race. With only nine games left in the campaign, out-winning the rivals by two games in that number of matches will require both an incredible run of form, also more than a couple of defeats for the teams sitting above them. But top-8 is still achievable and all they need is to string together a winning run.
Head-to-head:
This will be the 2nd meeting between these two teams in EuroLeague since 2000. That one meeting came earlier in the season which was won by ASVEL.
