Papova is an extremely gifted Power Forward who can finish inside on cuts, puts the ball on the floor, and finish, while also flying shots from the outside. She is also an excellent rebounder, and is top three in that category during the tournament. She is central to her team’s offense and her statistics put her in contention for the Super-Player in the Dream11 NBA scenario.
Frida has led the way for Sweden and her superb handles along with her ability to stop on a dime and make pull-up jumpers make her a superb offensive player. She has carried the major offensive load for her team but can also distribute and rebound the ball. Her presence will be crucial for Sweden to beat a tough Belarus team. The star player burst out for 22 points in the victory over Italy.
At 5’7″, Elin is the primary playmaker for the team, however, she is also a tough heart and hustle defensive player. Her main trade is setting up teammates for easy baskets but she can also drop some points every now and then. Elin had 6 points and 6 assists in the win over Italy.
Alexandria has been phenomenal throughout the tournament but that is not surprising. She has always been an excellent finisher, shooter, and also can set her teammates up. She has made it easier for Maryia to dominate inside and her multi-faceted skill-set makes her one of the best guards in the tournament.
Anastasiya Verameyenka: PPG: 10.3 RPG: 9.0 BPG: 2.2 PFP: 26
The left-handed PF is an incredible left-handed shooter and also can pile up boards, giving Belarus one of the most incredible front-lines in the tournament. Her shot-blocking also makes it tough for the opponents to score inside.
Kalis Loyd: PPG: 6.5 RPG: 5.5 SPG: 1.5 PFP: 25
Loyd is known for her athleticism, which allows her to be an effective inside scorer, defender, and rebounder. She collected 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the win over Italy.
Ellen Nystrom had 9 points and 6 rebounds against Italy.
