BKN vs DEN Dream11: COVID-19 has once again spoiled the fun-filled affair of the NBA and fans, critics, and teams alike are left frustrated with the insecurity of the virus. In this game, a COVID-19 hit Brooklyn Nets squad welcome the Denver Nuggets in a cross-conference affair. The Nets were heading in a terrific direction, being at the top of the East but their record can be affected. On the other hand, the injury-ridden Nuggets have somehow won 15 out of their 29 games. Nets were on fire before the health & safety protocols kicked in. Now, they are left with largely a second string or arguably a third-string unit and that means a team like Nuggets will have a huge chance against the short-handed team. Nuggets are led by Nikola Jokic who sparks a lot of confidence among his teammates. Denver has shown its depth with Murray, Porter Jr., and Dozier out. The Nets can produce some points with Patty Mills, Blake Griffin, David Duke, Cam Thomas, and Kirk Edwards but three of the players in Duke, Cam, and Edwards are highly inexperienced. Nets will need a couple of role players to act as the team’s aces now.
Nuggets: They have a potential to be an elite squad Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon have increased their points range by 6-8 points which creates a huge difference. Nikola Jokic continues to be a 20+ points scorer on most nights while Jeff Green has come through too. Will Barton’s production on the offensive end has suffered but his defense can make up for it. The Nuggets bench guards Facundo Campazzo and rookie Bones Hyland have also done their bid, with Campazzo being a playmaker and Hyland coBKNg into this game after a 24-point night. The Nuggets are digging in without their star players Michael Porter and Jamal Murray, once they return, the team will look deep. Nikola Jokic(DEN) Points: 20 Rebounds: 10 Assists: 07 Steals: 03 Nikola continues to carry his Nuggets team on his back and has been stellar once again this season. The current MVP can dip in 20-28 points, 10-15 rebounds, 6-12 assists on a consistent basis. When he plays, for me, he is the favorite for the Star-Player in the Dream11 NBA scene. Blake Griffin(BKN) Points: 17 Rebounds: 07 Assists: 06 Steals: 02 Blake fell out of the rotation when the main players of the team were healthy. But now the Forward has a chance to score around 12-18 points, grab 6-8 rebounds, and dish 3-6 assists with an extended role. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-40
Monte Morris(DEN) Points: 21 Rebounds: 03 Assists: 02 Morris has increased his output as the season has progressed and that is one of the major reasons why the Nuggets are hanging on. Monte is scoring in the 15-22 points range these days. Expected Fantasy Points Range: 27-38
David Duke Jr.(BKN) Points: 18 Rebounds: 14 Assists: 01 Steals: 02 Blocks: 01 David Duke Jr. got a big chance in the game versus Magic and he showed that he can be a force on the offensive rebounds, making tip shots after tip shots.
