BKN vs MIL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

The playoff place will be on the line for the hosts as Brooklyn Nets entertain Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA match at Barclays Center, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, on Tuesday morning (IST).

Just when it seemed as if the playoff spots were slipping away from Brooklyn Nets, came the match against one of the true giants of NBA Boston Celtics. The Greens have, of course, secured their place in the post-seaosn already, but still, the 18-time NBA champions came into that match looking for a win.

But indeed Nets needed the victory the most and they showed more intent in the match, beating the travelers 110-96 at Barclays Center. It was a relief for the home fans as this was the first win for Nets in three games.

With the win, Brooklyn maintained their position at 7th with a 39-38 record, one game advantage over Orlando Magic.

The 14-point deficit doesn’t tell the full story. Nets were that better as the margin may reveal. In fact, after a tough seven-game long trip, the hosts looked exhausted in the first quarter. Nets led by just one point at the break.

But after the break normality resumed. No, we are not talking about the Greens hitting their stride, but D’Angelo Russell, who had a poor first half.

He arrived, scoring 25 of his 29 points in the last two quarters, and adding a game-high 10 assists to his efforts.

Nets have still a lot of work to do if they are to hold on to their top-8 place. The next three games could potentially decide their fate as they face Milwaukee Bucks twice and Toronto Raptors in that period.

Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawks may have been long out of the playoff spots, but they are making right noises these days. The biggest one certainly came out in the last match as they bettered Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks 136-135 in an overtime win at Philips Arena.

Bucks, however, made a whole lot of changes for the match. Giannis Antetokounmpo had to sit the game out due to his ankle problem, while the likes of Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Eric Bledsoe all missing out.

Bucks lead the Eastern Conference with 57-20 record and play three of their last five games at home.

Regular Season Record-
Brooklyn Nets:
W-39, L-38
Milwaukee Bucks:
W-57, L-19

Players to watch out for:

Brooklyn Nets:
D’Angelo Russell – He is pretty much on course to become a genuine superstar. Not only he is averaging a team-high point per game this season, but doing so at a consistent rate, and at a crucial period where any complacency could haunt the whole season. If Nets are to make the playoffs, the last match against the Celtics could be pivotal in that regard. The 23-year-old scored 29 points and registered 10 assists in that match.

Spencer Dinwiddie – He has certainly transformed himself. The 25-year-old point guard is averaging 17.4 points per game this season, which is a significant improvement on his career average of 11.0 points per game.

Milwaukee Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Bucks’ rise this season is mostly down to the terrific form of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Not only he is racking up an NBA MVP caliber numbers this season, but doing so at an incredible rate. The Greek-Freak is averaging a team-high 27.4 points per game, adding 12.5 rebounds per game to his efforts as well. The 24-year-old has scored at 30.4 points per game in the last 10 matches.

Khris Middleton – The 27-year-old is scoring at a career-high 18.1 points per game this season. With 2.2 turnovers per game and 1.0 steals per game, the Texas-born power forward is a vital cog in Bucks’ defensive unit.

BKN vs MIL Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Brooklyn Nets are more than capable of beating any team on their day, but they are not consistent by any means and suffer too many negative results against big teams. That said, Bucks are making changing their matchday squad these days and that’s understandable as head coach Mike Budenholzer looks to keep his players fresh ahead of the playoffs.
If that’s the case here, if Bucks play with the same squad with which they went ahead against Atlanta Hawks in the last game, we think Nets will beat them.
