BKN vs MIN DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Brooklyn Nets will be playing host to Minnesota Timberwolves in an NBA match at Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday night (IST).

Brooklyn Nets:

For a moment, it looked as if Brooklyn Nets would be snapping an unwanted record against Dallas Mavericks. And why not, the Turkeys were there to be hunted, tangled and floundering at American Airlines Center was a team aiming for a big flight this season.

But few things take more time to change than the time itself; Draymond Green will always be wasting his time in some anger management classes; Sergio Ramos will always think about winning a fair-play award, and thus getting some respect from his peers, and Nets can go on and on searching for their two successive wins on the road.

So after winning 92-104 vs Miami Heat yesterday, Brooklyn suffered a 119-113 loss against Dallas Mavericks and ended up losing their 32nd straight losses in back-to-back away games.

But the story is all about how visitors buckled under pressure after making a sort of good comeback in the match. Nets were down by 14 points in the 2nd quarter, by 11 at the half-time mark, but clawed their way back into the game at the start of the 4th to tie the score at 87 points apiece.

That was that; the victory never felt so close in consecutive away games. A fourth-quarter meltdown of Nets, or an outburst from the hosts?

The latter seems a good judgement as Dallas raced to a 16-6 run to surge to a 103-93 lead. After that, the normality resumed, with both teams scoring on the turn.

Minnesota Timberwolves:

For Minnesota Timberwolves, these are the tough times to negotiate after losing Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia 76ers in the middle of the campaign. Whether it was a good deal to part ways with a star never really in the mood to shine for them, is a different story altogether.

But the Wolves are finding it hard to replace him. Karl-Anthony Towns is a sure shot to fill the big boots, but everybody else looking more closer to Turkey.

Derrick Rose is only twinkling like a blue moon, Jeff Teague and Andrew Wiggins are nowhere near giving the powerful performances on a consistent basis, and Dario Saric is still waiting to nail down his place amongst the starters.

The last match was that game where there were only flashes and in the end, the dark was too thick, engulfing the flickering light.

A half-time lead of six points proved to be a false indicator as Denver Nuggets came out of the blocks in the 3rd quarter, winning it by 35-18, and that was it, enough to be in the lead for the visitors who came into this match on the back of seven defeats in the last eight.

Next up for them are Brooklyn Nets, a team playing at their level, and So a fight looms where a win really matters for the visitors.

Regular Season Record-
Brooklyn Nets: W-8, L-11
Minnesota Timberwolves: W-7, L-11

Players to watch out for:

Brooklyn Nets:
D’Angelo Russell – With Caris LeVert missing the action through injury, Russell becomes a central figure for Nets. The 22-year-old is hitting the ground running in the last 10 games, averaging 19.7. He is in good form and should be in your team to help you fetch some important points.
Spencer Dinwiddie – The 25-year-old is going for 15.3 points per game this season. There are other aspects to his game and could prove crucial for NBA fantasy lovers.

Minnesota Timberwolves:

Karl-Anthony Towns – He is an undisputed king in Minnesota and a go-to-man in every situation since the Jimmy Butler saga saw its end. The 23-year-old Center is the only player in Timberwolves roster to score in the 20s at this moment and is also racking up rebounds at 11.9 this season. Without a doubt, Towns must be the superstar in your NBA fantasy team.
Derrick Rose The 2011 NBA MVP is dropping 19.0 points per game but is more than capable of leading the charge for his team. Many believe that Rose hasn’t fulfilled his full potential all these years.
