  • BKN vs NYK Dream11: In this across-the-town rivalry, New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets fight it out against each other. Knicks are up-and-down recently but are still above the 50% win mark. On the other hand, the Nets are the best record holders in the Eastern Conference.

The Nets have built up a special season this time around with both Harden and Durant being healthy for the large parts. With Harden and Durant in the mix, you get all-around production while LaMarcus Aldridge has been in superb touch at the big position. On the other hand, with Joe Harris out, Deandre Bembry has stepped up while Patty Mills continues to be a perimeter threat.

The Knicks have had struggled recently, especially on the offensive side. While there have been considerable improvements on the defensive end, the team has looked down and out on the offensive end. Still, with Julius Randle at the helm, the team can right the ship. However, more is needed out of Walker and Barrett.

    NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

    Nets: Superstar-heavy
Brooklyn can mount up a potent offense but it is the defensive that where the squad has been more impressive. Nets are top-ten in defensive efficiency of 102.8 and their perimeter defense restricts teams to around 31% from three. On offense, when you have Harden handing over around 10 assists, Durant scoring 30 or so regularly, Aldridge and Mills combining for 20-25 points, the offense is solid looking. Now, the team will need to fill the void left by the absence of Joe Harris and Bembry has put his hand up recently.

    Knicks: Offense has frozen
Knicks’ offense is not among the best in the league. One issue they have been the cold spells of Barrett and Walker who have constantly shot around 30% and are struggling from the three-point line. However, Evan Fournier has scored 20 or more multiple points in many games recently. Julius Randle is also a bit out of sorts on offense but perhaps as we progress towards mid-season, maybe he can produce better?
