NBA Regular Season
Venue – Scotiabank Arena, Toronto
The Eastern Conference of the NBA will see a game being played between Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors in the regular season on Monday. Both teams are in the playoff spots, and this will be a trailer of what can be expected from the two sides in post-season.
Brooklyn Nets are in the sixth spot in the league table and that is the first time the team is making an appearance in the playoffs since 2015. They have seen a really difficult time at their franchise and with youngsters in the roster, this team can do some serious damage against anyone. With a max cap space left in the franchise, there is a chance they will be landing a superstar in free-agency next season. If that is going to be the plan for the management, then the Eastern Conference will have yet another player to fight for a spot in the Finals of the NBA.
Meanwhile, Toronto Raptors have been a regular customer for the playoffs, and there is a good chance they are the strongest the franchise has ever been in recent years. Ever since Kawhi Leonard has made his way into the team, he has transformed their fortunes. He will be looking to showcase why he was the finals MVP of 2014 NBA Championship when he led San Antonio Spurs to victory. He is still young and hungry, a perfect combination for a superstar who is looking to shut down all the smack talk done by the media about his character.
