BOS vs CLE Dream11: It is here again.. COVID-19, with its wings of despair, once again, makes the job difficult for players, fans, management, league administration, writers, and whoever is associated with the league in any form. How do you produce the knowledge regarding the league when you don’t even know who is going to end up in the protocols? Anyway, if the league rolls, writers will roll, readers will check in. So, we keep rolling as the Boston Celtics host the Cleveland Cavaliers. At this point, mentioning records serve a little purpose with the line-up balance tumbling like a house of cards.
Celtics have not done much with a healthy roster and their record of 15 wins and 16 losses clearly indicates that. Boston has so much talent and only a few teams have such guard depth which makes these losses more of a surprise. Tatum has been prolific, but he hasn’t been able to will his team to win that regularly.
Cavaliers receive the COVID-19 punishment at a time when they had won six games in a row. Their defense will take a hit with Okoro, Allen, and Mobley out but there is one interesting thing. If the roster remains without a further hit, they can show their immense wealth of bench players who can be starters for other teams.
Host: Boston Celtics
Visitors: Cleveland Cavaliers
Match Timing: 23 December, @ 05:30 AM
Venue: TD Garden
Celtics: Talent talent everywhere but where are the wins!
A guard depth with three playmakers, shot creators, two pesky defenders, and big-time scorers can leave many squads at envy. With Jaylen Brown, Dennis Schroeder, and Marcus Smart, the Celtics are a deep team at the guard position. A wing like Tatum and a Center like Robert Williams along with a back-up like Enes Freedom, the Celtics when healthy with Horford, Richardson, and talented bench players like Grant Williams, showcase a brilliantly built squad. Then why have there been no results? Well, simply said, there is a lack of team chemistry and some players have not found their rhythm yet. Will there be some trades soon?
Cavaliers: Exceeding expectations
Cavs have exceeded expectations and are one of the few squads in the modern NBA to consistently field three big Forwards/Centers in the lineup. With its length, athleticism, and discipline, the Cavaliers have been a force on defense. Now, with Allen, Mobley, Okoro, and other defenders hurt, that aspect can take a bit of a hit. Still, with Love, Garland, Rubio, Markkanen, Osman, and whoever joins them, the team can deploy two playmakers, two talented stretch-fours, and a shot-creator. Cavs can’t be taken lightly if these players are active for the game but yes, they have suffered too much from COVID-19.

Jayson Tatum(BOS )
Tatum has been one of those few players this season who has hit the floor regularly this season. And when he hits the floor, a 24+ points night is a norm for the talented wing. Tatum has also grabbed 6-12 rebounds and has handed over 4-6 assists a game continuously this season.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-50
With the list of absentees growing at an alarming pace, Garland will have to be even more assertive on the offensive end. And the guard can certainly do that he has lodged 20+ points and 6+ assists a game regularly this season. He is an option for Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 NBA scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 39-52
Jaylen Brown(BOS )
Jaylen’s season has been marred with injuries but when he is good to go, he can wreak havoc through his all-around toolkit. The highly talented off-guard has figured in the 20-30 points range, clasping 5-9 rebounds and assists on a regular basis.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-52
Rubio is a starting level player and amidst the number of absentees, his role will only see further expansion. The guard has led the Cavaliers in assists during the last few games, dishing them in a 7-11 range while scoring-wise, he can be in single digits mostly, but with a depleted roster, he can go past 10 points.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-42
Marcus Smart(BOS )
Smart has been a little inconsistent on the offensive end but a 14-19 points range outing is not surprising on a regular basis. The pesky defensive perimeter guard has compiled 6-8 rebounds and 5-8 assists a game on a consistent basis.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 25-40
Kevin Love(CLE )
The longest-tenured player for the Cavs right now, the highly talented big Forward has shown the way off the bench. Love has been a factor in Cleveland’s schemes and has scored 15 or more in three straight games while grabbing 6-9 rebounds a game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-37
