BOS vs IND Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

There’s no denying the fact that Indiana Pacers performed way better than they were expected to in the absence of their superstar Victor Oladipo.

But the postseason is a different beast. An unforgiving furnace which tests the talent of an individual and of the team like nothing else, leaving the weeks and the undeserving with distorted complexions.

Pacers are 3-0 down in the series and now face the ultimate truth that without Oladipo they are going nowhere. Not against this Celtics team which is looking hungry for success, and which also boasts Kyrie Irving in their ranks. The player who is looking to carve out his name in the NBA folklore without the help of Lebron James.

Indiana haven’t been outplayed though. The 3-0 is a false indicator of the actual proceedings on the court.

In the first game, Pacers won two quarters to Celtics’ one, while both the teams split the quarters in the second game. It’s just that the Greens were more astute and precise when it really mattered, while Pacers’ domination has been absolute ephemeral.

The last match was a similar story as well. Pacers led by two points going into the break and had the momentum to back on after outscoring Celtics 33-18 in the 2nd quarter.

A Deja vu moment waited for all the fans who watched the first game of this series. Celtics came out of the blocks like a wounded animal, and Pacers too brittle to withstand the attack. All the same. The Greens won the 3rd quarter 21-12, and never looked back.

Jaylen Brown led the way with 23 points, while Kyrie Irving (19 points and 10 assists) had a double-double. Three more players, Al Horford (16 pts), Jayson Tatum (18 pts) and Marcus Morris (11 pts) scored in the double digits.

For Indiana, all the five starters scored in the double digits, but none in the 20s. Tyreke Evans had a blast of sorts from the bench, exploding for a team-high 19 points in his 22 minutes blitz on the court.

Regular Season Record-
Indiana Pacers:
W-48, L-34
Boston Celtics:
W-49, L-33

Players to watch out for:

Indiana Pacers:
Bojan Bogdanovic – The 29-year-old averaged 18.3 points per game in the regular season, making him Pacers’ best scoring player. In the post-season, he has scored at 16.7 points per game.

@Twitter

Thaddeus Young – Averaging 11.0 points in the post-season. Not only that, he is averaging 3.7 steals and is making 1.0 blocks per game in the playoffs. Deserves more for his efforts.
Tyreke Evans is another player who has taken his game to new heights in the post-season.

Boston Celtics:
Kyrie Irving –
The playoff mode is on for Kyrie Irving. That’s the difference between good players and the one who is destined for absolute greatness. Irving looks like he belongs to that breed. For he has upped his game by some stretches in the postseason, playing like a player who can carry his team to the very end. He is averaging more than 25 points per game in the post-season. He can dance around defenders, can take little step backs, and then forward to pull an absolute rabbit out of his sleeves.

@Twitter

Jayson Tatum – Shot 33.3% from beyond the arc an 50% overall in game-3 to cap another good performance for Celtics. He scored 26 points in the 2nd game and did so by producing many moments for highlight reels.
