BOS vs OKC DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Oklahoma City Thunder host Boston Celtics in an NBA match at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, in Oklahoma City, on Thursday.

Oklahoma City Thunder:

The 2017 NBA MVP Russell Westbrook was back on the court with Oklahoma City Thunder after missing the first two-game through injury, but couldn’t save his team from falling 120-131 against Sacramento Kings, their 3rd consecutive defeat in as many games this season.

OKC seems to have a lot of points to worry until things turn for the better. Their defence is conceding 110 points per 100 possessions so far, which will always be the league’s worst return at any point in the season. While it’s hard to see from where the OKC are going to get points beyond George and Westbrook. Also, the OKC ranks last in the league in offensive efficiency despite scoring 120 points against Kings.

Westbrook’s return couldn’t have come at a better time but the defence is the main problem for them and it’s not gonna improve until Andre Robertson gets back. The 26-year-old is out of the action since injuring his knee in January.

Boston Celtics:

Celtics, meanwhile, continued their topsy-turvy start to the new campaign with a 93-90 loss against Orlando Magic.

The Greens were poor offensively as they converted on just 40.5 percent of their field goal attempts and just 22.5 percent from beyond the arc. Magic led the for the most of the game but Celtics didn’t give up and came within only one point in the dying moments of the game. But Kyrie Irving missed a three-pointer followed by Gordon Hayward’s own attempt to force the game into the overtime when he missed a shot from beyond the pain.

However, despite the loss, there were few positives to take from the game for the 17 times NBA Champions. Gordon Hayward finally looked in sync with his teammates as he had his strongest showing in this match, while Irving also managed to improve his stats for the season in his 21 points outing.

Regular Season Record-
Oklahoma City Thunder: W-0, L-3
Boston Celtics: W-2, L-2

Players to watch out for:

Oklahoma City Thunder:

Russell Westbrook – The game against Magic was his first and still he managed a game-high 32 points in the match. Few players can match his performance on the court and the 2017 MVP is critical to OKC’s chances of making the playoffs this season.

Paul George – The former Indiana Pacers wanted to be traded in the off-season but in the end, changed his mind. He is Thunder’s best player and his partnership with Westbrook looked good in the later stages of the competition last season.

Boston Celtics –

Kyrie Irving – Despite Boston Celtics losing the game against Magic, Irving looked in better form and scored 21 points in that match.

Jayson Tatum Had a relatively poor outing against Orlando. But the 20-year-old is Boston’s star for the future. Expect a better show from him in this match.
